Police say 70% of all crimes are committed using a vehicle, and identifying a license plate is how most crimes are solved.
Stone Martin Builders installs Flock Safety cameras at subdivision entrances, exits, and amenities, so that the entire community is covered. The cameras operate using cloud-based software, so they can send information about vehicles in real time to law enforcement agencies. For example, any stolen vehicles or wanted plates are flagged as they enter. There's also timestamp documentation of all vehicles entering and leaving the community.
These cameras do more than just make you feel safe. They have been proven to reduce crime in Stone Martin Builders' actual communities. In September 2021, Flock Safety cameras helped police arrest five people who were wanted in connection with lumber theft. And in October 2021, cameras captured footage of suspects stealing copper wires. Police located and arrested the suspect a few days later. There's never any concern about the footage falling into the wrong hands. The homeowners association owns and has control of all footage, which is automatically deleted every 30 days.
